  • I’m the only person from my high school coming to William Paterson, how will I meet anyone?
  • This year we have amazing Orientation Leaders who are here to support you through your transition. They will provide information about our academic expectations and help you get to know your fellow Pioneers during the fun and interactive Student to Student session during Orientation.  You'll also have the opportunity to meet more students at Welcome Day (day before classes start).  There will be many Welcome Week activities during the first few weeks of the semester including Passport to WP, Club Fair, and Greek Fair.  Check out Pioneer Life to see upcoming events and the many student organizations you can join.  

  • Are there sessions specifically for parents/families?
  • Yes! During Orientation day, parents and families will have their own Orientation sessions where they can participate in a variety of presentations specifically tailored to them.   We ask that parents and family members also register at least 48 hours before your scheduled Orientation. 

  • What happens if I do not have a schedule yet?
  • You must log into WP connect and email your academic advisor with registration inquiries.   

  • I can't find my 855 number. What should I do?
  • You may find your WPUNJ ID number here

  • How can I get my student ID card?
  • You must upload a photo on this link Hospitality Services-ID Center and submit requested information to Hospitality Services.  ID cards will be mailed. 

  • How do I register my car to park on campus?
  • Students must log into WP connect under Students tab and click on request to register. Students must have car information available when completing application. Click here for application

  • How do I get connected to the Campus Rave Mobility notification system?
  • You may setup access by clicking the link under general services in the student’s tab. You may also use this link for more details Emergency Notifications.

  • How do I find out more information about living on campus?
