William Paterson University offers designated lactation rooms on campus to all William Paterson University students, faculty, staff, and visitors who need a private place to express milk. Lactation Rooms on Campus Each lactation room is equipped with a comfortable chair, small table, electrical outlet, and a sink with running water. Refrigeration/storage is not provided, and in all locations, nursing individuals will need to provide their own pump. Where to find a Lactation Room There are three Lactation rooms on campus that are close to academic buildings and parking lots. All rooms are locked for privacy and require scheduling. Please complete the Lactation Room Support Form to schedule and gain card access or a key to the Lactation room of your choice. Request Lactation Room Hunziker Hall, Room 300 Hunziker Lactation Room is located on the 3rd floor. If you are entering through Hunziker hall entrance, there is only stair access. Elevator access is in Grant Hall. Take the elevator to the second floor and go through the Hunziker building entrance. Hunziker Room 300 is accessed by a narrow flight of stairs and is not accessible for individuals with limited mobility and individuals using a wheelchair. Access may be limited to individuals with other mobility-assistance devices. A key is required to enter the room. For Immediate support contact Community Police. An accessible Lactation room is located in the Student Center, Room 305. Student Center, Room 305 Student Center Lactation Room is located on the 3rd floor. If you are entering through the Student Center entrance, individuals can access via stairs or elevator. Student Center Lactation Room 305 is on the left side of the elevators. Card access is required to enter. Those that need immediate support may contact the Hospitality Service Desk. This room is ADA compliant. 1600 Valley Road, Room 1014 1600 Valley Road Lactation Room is located on the 1st floor. If you are entering through the main entrance, the lactation room is on the right side next to the Auditorium. 1600 Valley Road Lactation Room 1014. Card access is required to enter the room.
